Another Pool Day

Carter is getting really good at swimming. He LOVES to jump off the diving board and can even swim by himself (as long as he has his life jacket on). I think he is going to love summer time!

Children's Museum

We went with some friends to the Phoenix Children's Museum on Saturday. This was the first time that we had been, and I was really impressed with it. Carter had a blast and it was not very crowded so he had lots of time to play without being disturbed, etc. Carter made Ice Cream (with his friend Emmy), played grocery store and lots of other things. Deacon mostly just put things in his mouth, but as you can tell, he enjoyed himself too!

The Drive In

We decided to take the boys to the Scottsdale 6 Drive In last Friday to see Shrek. What a great time!!! We thought that we would be the only ones there, but we were wrong. It was so crowded that it took us at least 10 minutes to get in and were very close to missing the start of the movie.

New Camera

We got a new fancy camera so we have been taking lots of pictures lately. Here are some random photos of the boys. Enjoy!!

Family Swim Day

We had our first official family swim day in the backyard yesterday. The pool was still a little bit cold, but it was plenty warm outside. Brent was exhausted, but the boys had a blast.

Update on Carter's Swimming Lessons

Carter is still taking swimming lessons every Thursday and has made lots of improvements. He no longer cries hysterically the entire time he is in the pool. He has replaced the tears with laughs and smiles. Thank goodness!!

Enchanted Island @ Encanto Park

I felt guilty for never taking Carter anywhere fun anymore, so I did some research and found this park in Phoenix that also has a tiny amusement park inside of it. We had a fun time and now I am convinced that Carter is ready for his first trip to Disneyland!
